I just found The Bitter Southerner's website/blog etc a few days ago when I was following threads about No Cameras - the new photo book about The Clermont Lounge.
Back on the site today I started to look a little past Blondie and crew and discovered this awesome piece about Lawson Little, a photographer whose photos of country musicians goes back over 40 years and includes all of the best from Bill Monroe, Ralph Stanley, and Johnny Cash all the way up to Dwight Yoakam and The Old Crow Medicine Show.
It's a great piece of American history and photojournalism.
