I frighten myself by agreeing with Camille Paglia. Again.

A good pop artist.     Bad pop artist.

A few weeks I posted about another article written by Camille Paglia that I agreed with.
That one was about the differences between men and women and how, in Paglia's opinion, it was ignorant to ignore them as trivial.

This time Paglia reviews, of all things, the new Eminem album and is convinced that he is the only "real" artist at work in pop music to date.
Thankfully she also ridicules Lady Gaga in her praise for Eminem.

I have to say while I'm not really a fan of Eminem's music I do find myself agreeing with Paglia.
For all his politically incorrect rantings and ramblings at least his emotions seem real.
You believe whatever he's screaming about is what he actually thinks rather than the product of some auto-tune studio addicted producer.
He's a genuine artist and when someone is insulted, hurt, or angered by his words his universal response is, more or less, fuck it.
I like it.

Her critique is obviously much better than mine.
