And the gay community remains silent

Shortly after midnight on this New Year's Eve, a man started a fire at Neighbors, a predominantly gay nightclub in Seattle.
Security cameras at Neighbors captured images of  a man carrying a gas can seconds before the fire started.
According to police, the suspect, Musab Masmari wanted "to exterminate homosexuals".
So why isn't this front page news?
Why haven't we heard about more about this story?
Masmari is muslim, at least that's my contention.
If he was a devout catholic fire bomber I have no doubt that we would be hearing about it nonstop.
