The Updated EPPdF Brother Rating Brackets

Disappointing Performance for the EPPdF Brothers Home Team:

Hamstrung by questionable leadership from the beginning, this rag-tag team of misfits had some early promise but seem to have lost momentum.   With one player indefinitely benched for the use of performance enhancing substances and a second who seems to have lost interest in the game altogether, the hopes and dreams for the entire season had rested heavily on the shoulders of EPPdF Hermano Numero Uno.
Apparently the stress and strain of the intramurals have proven to be too much.
With weak a performance in the first quarter and a spotty, at best, 2nd quarter showing, we're going to have to see some real power moves during the 3rd if he expects to even make it to the end of the season.  Remember:  This is a bowl year.

The big surprise this season is the comes-out-of-nowhere, takes-no-prisoners, swinging-for-the-fences performance of Cousin-brother Ron!  This kid is really making things happen out there.
Cousin-brother Ron is a late 2nd quarter walk on, just up from the minors, but boy his stats are impressive already!

Look at the numbers:
With a late night "run and gun" thru San Antonio, including the Riverwalk and The Alamo, Cousin-brother Ron showed that he meant business from the minute he stepped onto the field.
Wow!  Remarkable.
But he really showed his mettle in Austin.

In just 2 days he racked up an astounding catalog of spirited drives:
*Closed down the same bar twice (actually told to leave)
*Meatloaf concert at Austin City Limits
*Met Meatloaf's band
*Live Jazz at The Elephant Room
*Classic movie in 20's theater
*Dinner at The Roaring Fork

Incredible!
Any one of these achievements might have moved Cousin-brother Ron to the front of the pack. Certainly, he would have, at very least, been in a dead heat for the pole position with EPPdF Hermano Numero Uno.  But now, with all of these accomplishments under his belt and half a season gone;  well, it's hard to see how anyone is going to top Cousin-brother Ron.

We'll see how the training goes in camp over the break but EPPdF Hermano Numero Uno is going to have to bring the magic out in the 3rd quarter if he expects to even get a glimpse of the championship.

Poor and/or inconsistent performances have plagued the 1st and 2nd quarters.
There's talk of a trade.  Hate to feed the rumor mill but there it is.

EPPdF has not been impressed with the teams overall performance and may be forced to make some tough decisions when it comes time to negotiate the new contracts.
