So, I tried to read your son's blog to Rick - you know, outloud.
What a mistake.
I couldn't stop laughing long enough to get the words out.
I finally choked my way through his terrible New Orleans conversations only to turn to Rick in time to see him drying his eyes - from laughing so hard.
Rick has done the cross country motorcycle trips. This blog brought back so many fun memories.
I hope he has an agent getting him sponsors for his blog. He could make a fortune.
Thanks for sending it - I'll keep reading.
Pat
Thanks so much for reading along!!!
I sat out by the pool writing that piece and cracking myself up. Slowly, people started moving away from the eye-patch wearing guy mumbling and laughing to himself and when I looked up 3 hours later, I was all alone. So very, very alone.
Hmmmm....maybe I should work on that.
But the point is - thanks to everyone who's keeping up with me. Kinda fun to think that I'm entertaining someone that actually exists outside of my head. I even have readers in Sweden, Belgium, and Germany!! My German is a little rusty but I would like to say, "Ich bin Cerveca!" my friend.
Also, sponsors are a wonderful idea! *hint, hint*
In an earlier post I mentioned my desire to sell out to Harley, Hamilton Watches, Guinness, and Blundstone Boots. I would like to add to that list, in no particular order of interest:
Gibson Guitars - a new '56 Les Paul Goldtop would be a welcome addition to the collection
Orange Amps
Apple - a new MacBook Pro 15" would be swell
Hanes - select comfort V-neck tees in medium
Chic Fil A - whatever $ amount you agree to I've already spent on your delicious sweet tea
These are just a few of the people for whom I'd be more than happy to dance like the proverbial monkey!!!
New moments in misanthropy coming your way soon!
