My friend, Miss Emily, and I went to see The Crosstown Allstars - a great blues band featuring my friend, Towson Engsberg, on drums- at Fatt Matt's Rib Shack last night.
Towson was the guy who lent me his old leather jacket and tank bag for the trip last year so, big fan right here.
Emily watched with mild disgust and only a slight hint of moral superiority as I devoured an entire rack of ribs by myself.  (Vegetarian.) (Gluten Free.)  (All Organic.)  (Free Range.)
(Whatcha gonna do?)

The Crosstown Allstars will be at Fatt Matt's every Tuesday in May.
Go get some ribs and blues on 'ya!
Good times!

We had a nightcap with Neighbor Fred at The Family Dog after Fatt Matt's where I ran into one of the bartenders I met at The Bookhouse Pub on Monday night.
Nice girl and great bar.

Also, ran into the girl who runs my favorite clothing store - 310 Rosemont.

Jessica is a sweetie and I had an opportunity to meet her boyfriend, Scott, as well.
Scott flies helicopters which is pretty awesome.
Always wanted to fly one those things but I'm pretty sure they don't give pilots licenses to guys with eyepatches.
Discrimination sucks.

310 Rosemont has exceptional clothing - a bit pricey - but quality.  Every time I wear the shirts I bought there I get lots of compliments.
Go buy.
(I'm a medium, medium/large in Robert Graham.)

"The Source of the Trouble" came over for lunch today so we walked down to Moe's & Joe's to have a burger.
Mikey absolutely had to go and waited, more or less patiently, until "grandma" gave him a bite of her cheeseburger.
Of course he thanked her appropriately.

Good dog.
