Perhaps it's the on again, off again nature of switching between day and night shift at the big project in midtown.

Maybe it's the odd dream of Susie K. from way, way back in the high school days and the appearance of her dad, Officer Sonny K., who seemed to be encouraging marriage in the dream - a far, far cry from the Officer Sonny K. that I know and love.

Hel-looo, DumDum!
Or maybe it's the fact that DumDum has been vigorously waving at me everytime she passes me on the street these last few days.
(Settle down, blondie.  It's just a stupid blog.)

Whatever the reason, "it" is grumpy this morning.
Tired and grumpy.
"It" needs coffee.

And someone to tuck "it" in for a long, long nap.

This is not going to be a stellar day.

The one good point about the odd dream with Susie K. was that she still had that incredible
1970 Mustang Mach I she had back in high school.

Grabber Orange with Black Stripes.

Officer Sonny had rebuilt a 351 Windsor and it had 3 speed B & M shifter on the floor.

Good God, what every crazy high school girl needs:  300 HP and half an excuse to light 'em up.

And we did.

Good times, nothing but good times.

I can't wait to wrap up this job and get back out on the road.

My mood substantially improved after going to meet "The Source of the Trouble" and little Jerry, the boy she looks after in the afternoons, at Farm Burger in Decatur.

I loaded Mikey up and drove over for a delicious lunch with a side of brown cow (root beer with vanilla ice cream.)

Jerry won a jump rope contest in school today and the girls behind the counter were unbelievably sweet to him.
He was "awarded" a special coke float and some Farm Burger temporary tattoos that we, "absolutely had to apply this very instant before we explode with excitement."

It was a good afternoon.

Also, I sent this letter to a contractor I used for a recent job in Virginia.

I feel better.

RE:     contract violations and undue credit card charges
          May 3rd, 2013

Dear Frank,

Since you ran the full amount of $2,185 yesterday in violation of the contract that you had me sign and fax 3 times, and since I've attempted to reach you via phone and email without success, I have contacted the fraud department at Wells Fargo to see about reversing the charges.

Your contract clearly states "Net 25 days" payment terms and that the CC will only be used to hold the appointment.

It is worth noting that I have been doing (name redacted) retail stores all across the country and Canada for the past couple years.
In that time I've used "outside help" on numerous occasions.

It is with tremendous personal and professional embarrassment that I've ever considered myself a "window film installer".

Like you, they are the biggest collection of malcontents, misanthropes, jerk-offs, and fuck-ups, that I have ever had the great disappointment and misfortune to conduct business with.
(I know, dangling participle.)

They are unprofessional, whiney, bitchy, moaning, habitually late, addicted, uneducated,
non-communicative, and generally "loud and proud" of their ignorance.

I can think of only 2 companies in this entire union that I would look forward to working with on any regular basis - and to be honest - one of those companies is in Canada.

Yours is not the other company.

Reverse the charges immediately or I will have no other recourse than those fully available to me by law.

Yours Truly,
EPPdF
