Who doesn't like a good mystery?

Who doesn't like a good mystery?
You know what?
Don't tell me.
I don't wanna know that guy.

But here's a story you'll like.

Turns out, there's this old soda vending machine in Seattle, WA.
It's been there a long time.
Long enough that no one remembers who put it there or when.
It's just always been there.
No one knows who stocks it, or maintains it, or who collects the money.

But that's not the cool part.
There's a special "Mystery" button on this vending machine and after you put in 55 cents you can push the "Mystery" button and get a surprise flavor of soda.
One guy who did this for a few minutes got 6 different types of sodas.

Pretty cool, huh?

I kinda like the type of guy that would put an old vending machine in a random neighborhood, charge half (or less) of what everyone else charges, and offer up some simple, fun, and harmless mystery in the process.

There used to be a "Suggestion Box" attached to a pole at the corner of Ponce de Leon and N. Highland where the MARTA bus stops.
The box was painted white and had a hand painted MARTA sign on it's front.  On top was a small slot where you could drop your written suggestions for the improvement of your MARTA experience.
Except it wasn't MARTA's suggestion box.
It was just some guy who randomly decided to place the box and periodically stopped by to empty it's contents.

It lasted 5 maybe 6 years before the authorities took it down.
