First day of spring with Mikey

I had a beautiful walk with Mike yesterday afternoon.
We stopped at John Howell Park on Virginia Ave. and took a few pictures with a backdrop of blooming dogwood trees.
Finally, we've had a couple of good weather days in the ATL.

Jeff Slate @ Slate Photography was in the park and took these last 2 pictures.

I found these pictures of Wisteria over at Atlas Obscura - - http://www.atlasobscura.com/places/wisteria-tunnel

Blooming Wisteria covering a curved frame forms a beautiful flowering tunnel in Japan.

The "Lion" and I went to Japan early in 2007, arriving at the tail end of the cherry blossom festival, when what feels like a kajillion cherry trees all bloom at the same time.
Just gorgeous.
If you ever get the chance, go to Kyoto and walk the "Philosopher's Path".

A couple more shots I took this morning on our walk.
