I stumbled onto a really cool hotel in upstate New York, posted on a pretty cool website, Messy Nessy.
The Saugerties Lighthouse, is, as you may have already ciphered, a former lighthouse along the Hudson River turned hotel.
It's on it's own little island is still decorated in that hip 50's ways.
Love it.
Also, percolated coffee is the way. Haven't used one since the power went out in my house in Buckhead years ago but I remember how incredible it tasted. Gotta get a percolator soon.
