It cracked me up because it is just like the drumset I inherited from my brother GeorgeMichael back in 1986.  GeorgeMichael was a great drummer back in the day and actually had a partial music scholarship when he ran away to college.

It's a beautiful kit and I still own it.
I look back at a couple of moments when I nearly sold/traded it for other drums and want to slap the younger, dopier me right in the kisser for ever considering that.

P.S.  I just found this ad today so if you need a Vistalite drumset, it's all yours baby.

 Ludwig vintage 70's blue vistalite complete kit - $1500 (Baldwin, Ga 30510)

1974 Ludwig vintage vistalite kit complete with 2-sets of hardware. I am original owner and have the original hardware that came with the kit. Speed king pedal, ludwig atlas high hat stand , atlas boom arm cymbal stand and straight stand, and ludwig snare stand by atlas. All in working pristine condition. Also included is a set of more modern Pearl hardware which consist of HD hi-hat stand , snare stand . foot pedal, 3-boom arm cymbal stand stands and 2-straight stands, all heavy duty pearl double braced. Pork pie throne is included. Drum sizes are 22,12,13,16 floor tom and Pearl sensitone chrome snare 5.5"x14". Drums are in immaculate condition . Blue color is bright and not faded, no rust on hoops or any of the hardware. No cracks , a few light scratches, but these drums are 39 years old. They sound amazing. New ludwig heads from that time period as well as padded cases for all drums are included in the sale. You will never find a nicer more origonal vistalite drum kit in better condition anywhere. All cymbals are Sabian AA and sizes are 12",14,16",18",and 20" ride with paistie sound edge 14" hi-hats. I bought this kit from Rhythm City in 1974 when I was 16 and it has been kept in pristine condition ever since. Serious buyers only. No pay pal or shipping agents. Cash in person and price is firm.
