Another MessyNessyChic find.  I gotta hook up with that lady, she is awesome.

Peter Bellerby owns and operates one of only 2 globe makers in the world.
You'll wonder why only 2 guys are doing it until you watch the video.
Hint:  It took a year to perfect the skills required to put the strips of paper that tell you what you're looking at.

The Last Globe Maker

Ever wondered about the world behind those spinning globes that fascinated you so much as a kid?! No, me neither, but this mini documentary about Peter Bellerby and his London-based company that manufactures fine handcrafted globes is an unexpected delight. How does one get into the globe-making business? Bellerby, started out when he made one for his father as a birthday present and the DIY project snowballed into an unexpected career as one of the last handmade globe makers in the world.  We go inside the unusual atelier and see ‘how it’s made’ with a great story and stunning visuals.

(It was on Vimeo so it didn't copy and paste the video the way I wanted.)  (Computers.)
