Bob Seger - Against the Wind

For some reason I had a touch of the "nostalgia" this morning.
Maybe even a hint of "melancholy".
That's a good word.
Melancholy.

Anyhooooo......

Against the Wind by Bob Seger seemed to hit all the right notes this morning.

He's one of those artists that, if you're of a certain age, you know all of his stuff by heart from years of hearing it on FM radio, but it's not until you get to a certain age do you feel like seeking him out.
It's one of those oddities of getting old.
At first you sorta reject something that seemed like it was always there and then you start getting misty about it when it's gone.
Dang ol' life anyhow.
