Crossfire Hurricane

http://www.rollingstones.com/crossfire-hurricane/

I'm pretty excited about a new documentary about The Rolling Stones called "Crossfire Hurricane" which is a line from one of their best songs, "Gimme Shelter", and also the name of a pretty intense rodeo bull who regularly throws seasoned cowboys far into the stands.
(I'm a fan of the PBR.)
(You didn't see that coming did you?)
(I know.)
(I surprise myself sometimes, too.)

Early Rolling Stones music is still  pretty bad-ass.
How can you not like songs like Honky-Tonk Women, Brown Sugar, and Can't You Hear Me Knockin'?
Seriously.
Go listen to the opening guitar riff on Can't You Hear Me Knockin'?
I'll wait.

Has anything you've heard in the past year got your blood up and running like that?
Made you feel like jumping up and down on your living room couch while whipping your t-shirt around over your head?

Of course not.

And now I'll spend the rest of the day repairing the sheet rock but it was worth it.

Also, go do a little Wikipedia on the song "Gimme Shelter".
It has a really interesting history of it's own and the story of the incredible background singer, Merry Clayton, is worth your time.
