"Ms. X" and I went over to the Tara Cinema last night and saw Silver Linings Playbook.
What a great movie!
Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are just the type of nut-jobs that you've known and loved and possibly have tried to distance yourself from throughout your life.
They're funny and awkward and inappropriate.
In the same moment they're trying desperately to fit in and also reject "normal" life.
Robert de Niro is great as the slightly exasperated father and for once he down played his
"de Niro-ness" and came across as a real person.
Also, it's amazing how much he looks like my grandfather now.
I had to dig out an old photo of Grandpop to show "Ms. X".
