Seattle to Bellingham

I rode to Bellingham on August 1st.  Left Seattle on Interstate 5 heading north.
Went thru Deception Pass State Park on my way up and all the way out to Ft. Casey, where you can see Canada across the water.  Incredible.  I've almost run out of territorial U.S. of A.

Watchin' for them 'nadians.

Capt. del Fuego: ready for takeoff.

Michelle, the flying nurse!
Good idea.

It's a cat.  Just a cat.

A variety of "flower".
a "flower"

a "dog"

I've been staying with Shannon and Michelle, 2 long time family friends, and all around awesome people.
My older brother has been friends with Shannon since his first year at college, back in '87 or so.
Great guy.  The Source of the Trouble officially adopted Shannon shortly thereafter.
I have my own master suite at their house; private bath with a garden tub and separate shower with 2 heads.  Beautiful place.

Shannon had a little time off yesterday so the two of us rode out to Mt. Baker to see "snow".
For those of you in the grips of the Great Heat Wave of 2012.
"Snow" happens when something called, "Water", or "precipitation", dropping from the sky, "freezes".  This occurs when the temperature drops below "32 degrees Fahrenheit".
