Hey there,

Just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful pictures of Chihuly's work. It was such a nice way to start the day. WOW, I could just look at it forever.

Also, you will most likely still be on the road but, we are going to be in Atlanta on the 18th and 19th for a Brave's game. In case your home by then, would like to see your hairy face in person for lunch. If not, please be careful and we will catch you another time.

Love Ya,

Jen

I will need the recipe to roasted/toasted/fried pirata and of course, please make sure you get me the "something" on toast, "something" humus-y and the "something" really great. Sounds so delish.

From the one almost as humorous as you!

Had a nice day walking around Seattle yesterday.
Met a lot of nice folk while taking in the sights.

The coffee shop next to The Moore Theater gets 3 stars (even though I can't remember the name.)

RN. 74 is the restaurant at 4th and Pike that I went to with "The Canadians" the other night.
I went back yesterday and had a couple of cocktails and more steak skewers and pretzels.
Had a great chat with Kalima, a hospital administrator from the area (we both agree that nurses and hairdressers are all crazy).  Nice lady.  I encouraged her to sell her belongings and travel the world.  Just plain good sense!
Rn. 74 is designed a bit like a train station in the French wine country.  Very cool.

I can't say enough good things about the staff here at The Vintage Park Hotel.
Really personable, friendly, and helpful.  Pete, Rachael, and Katie were all particularly nice to me.

The lamb steak at the hotel restaurant hit the spot and Pete poured up his new drink,
"The El Pinche Pirata (with Lime)"

I went, on Pete's recommendation, to Bathtub Gin for a nightcap last night.
Was up past bedtime but well worth it.  Great little bar - you go down a street and turn down an alley behind a Mexican restaurant and then turn a corner and go down the stairs.  Great cocktails and Matt, the bartender was funny as hell.

  1. Hey,
Something wrong with home phone, call the cell if you're still around. Or call if you pass this way before turning east for the return trip, maybe we can go to Chupacabres. :)

    Love ya,
